SIG Sauer has produced its first suppressor in Sweden. The company announced the news on 15 September 2026, with the release issued from Stockholm and Örebro.

The Swedish partners AMEXCI AB and MP-SEC International AB are involved.

A Step Forward in Licensed Defense Manufacturing

According to SIG Sauer, the milestone marks a new step in licensed manufacturing capacity for the defense sector. The company adds that it also supports investment in the readiness of armed forces in the Nordic countries and within NATO.
