Create a detailed record for every visit to the range. Log the date, shooting range, which firearm you used, and the conditions on the day — temperature, wind, lighting. Add free-text notes stored fully encrypted for any private observations, thoughts on your technique, or equipment performance notes that you do not want to share.

Invite other MyGuns users to a shared shooting session. Companions can see the session details and add their own results, making it easy to compare performance at the end of the day. You stay in full control of privacy — decide what information is visible to companions and what remains private to your own record.

Record the number of rounds fired and your results for each stage. Upload photos of your targets directly from your phone — images are stored encrypted so they stay private. Having a visual record of your targets alongside your session data makes it easy to track improvement and identify areas to work on.

Define the stages of your session before you shoot — set the distance, target type, par time, and any other parameters. Save stages as reusable templates so you do not have to set up the same drills from scratch every time. Stage templates can be shared across sessions, making it easy to track your performance on the same stage over multiple visits.

Specify which ammunition — factory loads or your own handloads — you used during the session, and record how many rounds you fired. When you mark the session as complete, MyGuns automatically deducts the rounds from your ammunition inventory. This seamless link between range time and stock management means your inventory is always up to date without extra effort.

Build a personal directory of shooting ranges you visit. Save the name and any relevant details for each location, then select from your saved ranges when logging a new session instead of typing it out each time. Over time, the range directory becomes a useful reference showing which ranges you have visited and how often.
