Features Ammunition

Full Control Over Your Ammunition Inventory

Know exactly what you have on hand, what you have consumed, and when to restock — with automatic tracking tied to your shooting sessions.

Ammo Catalog

Factory loads · Handloads · Caliber & manufacturer filtering · Specifications

Browse a comprehensive catalog of factory ammunition entries covering common calibers and manufacturers, complete with specifications like bullet weight, velocity, and energy. Add your own handload entries linked directly to reloading recipes. Filter by caliber and manufacturer to quickly find what you are looking for. System entries are shared across all users; your personal entries remain private.

Book In / Book Out

Track purchases · Record consumption · Date and quantity per transaction

Manage your inventory through simple book-in and book-out transactions. Book in when you purchase new stock — record the date, quantity, and optionally the price per round. Book out manually when you consume rounds outside of a tracked shooting session. Every transaction is logged with a timestamp so you have a complete history of all inventory movements.

Session Integration

Link ammo to shooting sessions · Automatic consumption tracking

Assign ammunition types to your shooting sessions before heading to the range. When you complete a session and record the number of rounds fired, MyGuns automatically deducts the consumption from your inventory. This means your stock levels stay accurate without any manual bookkeeping — your shooting sessions do the work for you.

Statistics & Usage

Shots fired per type · Consumed vs. remaining · Cost tracking

Get a clear picture of your ammunition usage over time. See the total number of shots fired per ammo type, the total quantity consumed versus what remains in stock, and an estimated cost breakdown based on your purchase prices. These statistics help you understand your shooting habits and budget your restocking decisions more accurately.

Low Stock Alerts

Configurable threshold per ammo type · Warning indicator in inventory list

Set a minimum stock threshold for each ammunition type so you never run out unexpectedly. When your inventory drops below the threshold, a warning indicator appears in the ammunition list to signal that it is time to reorder. Thresholds are configured per ammo entry, so you can set higher minimums for calibers you shoot frequently and lower ones for occasional-use cartridges.
